Bob Thompson a.k.a. Drinking With Bob is a comic and TV personality from New York City. Based in Queens, Bob performs his comedy routines, rants and original music in clubs and bars throughout much of the Metropolitan area. He also produces, writes and stars in his own TV show called ‘Drinking With Bob’ on Queens Public Access. The show has been airing for 7 years and has gained a legion of loyal and devoted cult fans who tune in each week to experience the RANTS , see the comic sketches and hear music.

The RANTS are Bob's minute long, very intense middle class observations on everything from politics, celebrities and everyday life situations. Bob's outlook on life is raw and real; he pulls no punches as he states what everyone else is thinking but would not dare to say. The rants, through the web, have gained world wide attention: troops stationed in Iraq have written to Bob saying they listen to his rants all the time and even asked him to create a personalized rant for a few of the soldiers who are big fans of the show. Bob graciously obliged. Bob's style of comedy has been said to be reminiscent of Andy Kaufman, Sam Kinison and actor Jack Black’s comedic music group: Tenacious D. His sketches are off beat, humorous and tongue and cheek but keep with a comedic flare that you will not find anywhere else. Sketches like "Girl takes 5 Minutes To Park A Car Bike" "6 Beers in 6 Minutes" and "My Computer" are unique pieces of social commentary.

Bob's music, which he performs regularly around the Metropolitan area, is quirky simple songs that are fiery, radio friendly and easy to listen to unless you're one of the subjects of his music. "I Hate Rosie O'Donnell" "U Suck" and "I Wanna Be A Dinosaur"are classics among Bob fans.

Bob and his RANTS have appeared on numerous radio shows including "The Booke r Show" on 92.3 Free FM, "Jim Kerr in the Morning" on 104.3 FM, "Sean Hannity" on WABC 770 AM and "Henican and White" on WOR 710 AM. Most recently his RANTS were featured on VH1's ‘Web Junk 20' and ABC News.
